As Rowling's septology has HP Sleuths chewing on their quills, Galadriel Waters offered fans around the world a chance to create a book in which they would share their intriguing Harry Potter interpretations and theories with their peers. The Plot Thickens… Harry Potter Investigated by Fans for Fans offered 55 budding authors, from eight years old on up, representing 10 countries, the opportunity to write professional analyses and have them published.

Every day, thousands of fans leave fascinating, well-written insights about Harry Potter in discussion boards on the Internet. The best of those spark ongoing debates that are at the heart of Pottermania. The Harry Potter fan site with the most Web traffic is MuggleNet.com, and they are host to two huge discussion boards. One of them is the “CoS Forums”, and the other is the “New Clues Forum.” Some of the best sleuthing goes on in those forums, so we went to those members for contributions.
